What is an acting reel?  

An acting reel is almost out-dated.  Directors, Castting Directors what to see a CLIP that represent your non-acting ablitlites. As a new talent professional made clips are welcomed by the entertainment industry!   How else can they see your acting skills?  Some Casting Directors and Directors want to SEE footage of a talent beofre grantd them and audition or job.  Even agents and manager like seeing Professional looking clips.

Why CLIPS instead of a reel? 

A reel has clips of actual jobs or taped scenes editied together.  They can be impressive when requested.  However, most people requiring a "LOOK SEE" at your work are looking for a particular LOOK...drama, comedy, film, T.V. or commercial clip.  They do not want to watch an entire reel.

• And yes, LaVoie will make sure your scene is polished before recording.  Coaching will be included in recording session time.
  
• Client is welcome to prepare their own material or LaVoie will provide for a minimial charge.
  
• LaVoie edits the footage and provide high resolution finished product to client included  in session time.
